Stone Alone
Walking from Stoke to Stone, forgot to fill my water bottle but was rescued by a passing barge... then into the Monkey forest with not one in sight- Trentham Estate is home to a colony of macaques, but they were all asleep!

Keith and The Bucket Hat People
We set of along the Chester Canal and encounter our first Two Saints Way Characters.
NB To viewers in Norn Iron (N.Ireland). Please forgive the inexplicable spelling mistake.
It is of course City of Lisburn. Not the one in Portugal.
The Two Saints- St Chad & St Werburgh
St Chad is linked to Lichfield and was a Northumbrian priest. St Werburgh was the daughter of Mercian King Wulphere, famous for rescuing geese. Geese (and swans!) on route were actually quite vicious! (see later cartoon)
Two Saints Way (Chester to Lichfield)
Here's my route for the Two Saints Way, 92 miles officially, more like 100 after detours to places to eat, stay, escape cows etc!
