Dorothy Well
Dorothy Well, Portinscale, a memorial to Dorothy Christain (1730-1772). Daughter of the Vicar of Crosthwaite, Keswick, Dorothy was an invalid, who liked to watch the horses at the well from her cottage window. Reverend Christian was the uncle of Fletcher Christian of "Mutiny on the Bounty" fame...
