Staffordshire Saxon
If you get a chance, go to see the Staffordshire Hoard at The Potteries Museum, Stoke on Trent. It's free to get in and it's quite a sight. It's on until September 1st.......
Anglo Saxon Gold
Took a trip to Stoke-on-Trent to see the magnificent Staffordshire Hoard again. Truly amazing craftsmanship- hundreds of intricately crafted gold and garnet-encrusted pieces dug up by a bloke called Terry in a field with his metal detector.....
