War Surgeon Sir Archibald McIndoe honoured with memorial sculpture in East Grinstead, where pioneering plastic surgeon McIndoe, rescued hundreds of second world war air crew from despair, rebuilding faces left unrecognisable by burns. The sculpture is by Martin Jennings, whose own father, Michael, was one of those treated by McIndoe.
