Batty

More than half of the wildlife in Britain is in decline, according to a  report by animal charities.
Half of our animals, birds, insects and plants have declined over the past 50 years, including the Greater Horseshoe Bat. The use of medicines to cut worm infections in cattle has severely reduced numbers of this bat, which feeds on the larval insects in cow dung. Yum!
